Suspend, Resume & Delete

Choose the correct action depending on whether an item may return or should be removed permanently.

What to do

Select the item in the Editor and check where it is used.
Use Suspend for a temporary pause and Resume to make it available again.
Use Delete only for permanent removal, after checking its associations.
Save and check the affected types in the public configurator.

Suspend

Use Suspend to temporarily remove an item from active customer choices without deleting its data.

Resume

A suspended item can be made available again using Resume.

Delete

Use Delete when you want to permanently remove the item from the configuration.
