What to do

1. Open the Dashboard and check which configurators your account includes.
2. Set languages, currency and connector filters, then save.
3. In the Editor, prepare one complete cable type with a model, connectors, prices and options.
4. Test the customer journey before embedding the configurator in your website.

First, structure the product

1. Define models and content. Add models, images, descriptions, prices and the required product information.
2. Associate types and connectors. Define which items can be used together.
3. Set compatibility and limits. Rules prevent invalid combinations.
4. Manage languages and currency. Content adapts to the settings enabled for the client.

Then BuildHype guides each choice

The customer selects a type, chooses a model, completes connectors and options, and reaches a valid configuration without needing to understand the product’s internal logic.

The four steps

Separate from the store theme

Configurator logic remains centralised in BuildHype. The e-commerce integration connects the result to the store without turning the store theme into the product-rule engine.
