Saving

Always check the save status before testing the public configurator.

On this page

What to do

  1. After making a change, check the save bar at the top of the page.
  2. Press the save button and wait for confirmation: editing a field does not mean it has been saved.
  3. If an error appears, stay on the page and correct the indicated fields before trying again.
  4. After confirmation, reload the public configurator and verify the result.

Save states

The top bar distinguishes between unsaved changes, saving in progress, saved and error states.

Leaving with unsaved changes

If you try to leave the page while unsaved changes exist, the browser may warn you before leaving.

After saving

After important changes to compatibility, associations or prices, reload the public configurator and run a complete test.

Create full backup

Normal saving does not create automatic backups.

Save your Editor changes first. In the Dashboard, open Catalog backups, select the configurator and choose Create full backup. Wait for confirmation. The list shows the date, size and images; use Preview to inspect its contents and Delete to remove a copy.

Manual backups

The latest 3 manual backups are kept per configurator: a new copy replaces the oldest. A safety copy is created before restoration, keeping the latest one. Older backups, listed separately, contain data only and may increase the total count.

Restore

Preview the correct copy, choose Restore and confirm. Its catalog and images replace the selected configurator’s current state. Wait for the restoration success message and check the public configurator. Appearance and account settings are separate from catalog backups.
